Evening Service – Gospel of John:
Tonight as we resume our study of John’s Gospel we will look at a favorite passage of many, the feeding of the 5,000. Why does Jesus perform this miracle? What does the miracle teach us about God and man? What impact does this miracle have upon Jesus’ disciples and the masses? Why not come back tonight as we study this exciting passage together.Deacon Benevolent Offering – Tonight:
We will collect the deacon benevolent offering during the evening service tonight.Young Adult Book Study:
Any teens or young adults interested in participating in the upcoming book study please turn in your $17.00 book fee to Pastor Mellen today.Nominating Committee Mtg. – Tonight:
The nominating committee will meet prior to the evening service at 5:00pm.Missions Committee Mtg. – Tuesday, February 7:
The missions committee will meet this Tuesday at 11:00am at the church.Missions Trip Fund Drive:
Can you help us collect money for the summer missions’ trips? You can contribute through a designated offering, the contribution of recyclable cans or bottles, or through the “pocket money” collection. All monies collected will go directly toward the missions’ trips.Annual Reports:
If you are responsible for submitting a report for the annual business meeting please get them written and submitted to the office no later than Sunday, February 19. If you wish to submit them electronically as a “Word” document you can email them to Terrica Mellen at tamfive@gmail.com.Missions Training Sessions – February 17-18:
Anyone interested in short-term missions should plan to attend these training sessions taught by Harry Straub. We will meet on Friday evening at 6:45pm and on Saturday at 8:30am. There is a $1.00 fee for the cultural adaptation test. Please see the sign-up sheet on the back table if you wish to attend.Church-wide Informational Meeting – Sunday, February 19:
There will be an informational meeting held during the evening service to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of items that will be included in the annual business meeting.Winter Family Fun Activity – Saturday, February 25:
Depending upon the weather we will either be skating at the Munson’s Lake or using the middle school gymnasium for activities.
